Looks like Punjab FC’s star midfielder Madih Talal is packing his bags for a new adventure! The word on the street is he’s signing a two-year deal with East Bengal FC. Talal really wanted to stay in India after his awesome debut season, and East Bengal is pumped to have him on board.
Why East Bengal?
East Bengal isn’t wasting any time getting ready for next season, and signing Talal is a big move. They actually started talking to him during the international break, and he even did part of his medicals then! No wonder other teams were after him – with 4 goals and a whopping 8 assists, he was a key player in Punjab FC’s comeback this season.
East Bengal has acquired the service of Madih Talal. The midfield maestro was being chased by a few clubs but now is all set to join the Red and Gold Brigade next season.

The Choice is Made
A bunch of ISL clubs, including Chennaiyin FC and Bengaluru FC, were circling Talal, but East Bengal’s offer was too good to refuse. Apparently, their coach, Carles Cuadrat, really put in the effort to convince Talal, and it worked – Talal’s signed a two-year contract!
Insider Scoop
Here’s the thing: a source close to the deal spilled the beans, saying, “Madih has signed a two years deal with East Bengal following Carles Cuadrat’s personal influence on the deal. Carles wanted Talal to sign the deal knowing that other clubs too are interested in him and the quality of Talal is not to be missed out.“
Finishing Strong with Punjab FC
While Talal’s excited about his new chapter at East Bengal, he’s still focused on helping Punjab FC finish the season strong. They’re currently fighting for a playoff spot (sitting pretty in sixth place!), and Talal wants to give it his all until the very end.
